Terms of sale and use

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from or use theunboxedacademy.com, run by The Unboxed Academy. By buying or creating an account you agree to them. Questions: privacy@theunboxedacademy.com.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. Courses are for your own personal use.

2. What you're buying

The Unboxed Method is an online video course. One payment gives you lifetime access to the course and its future updates, for as long as the course is offered, unless the purchase is refunded or disputed. Prices are shown before you pay. For buyers in the EU, Stripe sells the course to you as seller of record and adds or includes VAT as shown at checkout.

3. Immediate access and your cancellation right

The course is digital content you can start straight away. At checkout you ask for immediate access and confirm that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations once access begins. Our 30-day money-back guarantee (see the refund policy) still applies.

4. The Producer Track

The Producer Track is a limited bonus included with the course. It is not sold separately and may close at any time. If it closes, people who bought while it was advertised stay eligible to apply for 12 months. Applications are reviewed by hand; approval and introductions to clients are not guaranteed. Places are limited each month, and introductions do not guarantee any work or income.

5. Your account

Keep your password safe and don't share your account. One account is for one person. We may suspend accounts that share access, resell content or try to break the site's security.

6. Using the content

The course videos, notes and templates belong to us. You may use them to learn and to run your own work. You may not copy, share, resell or publish them.

7. No earnings guarantee

The course teaches a method. It doesn't guarantee income. See the income disclaimer.

8. Subscriptions

Where we sell a subscription (for example to the content app), the price, billing period and terms are shown before you sign up. You can cancel online at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. From January 2027 you'll also have a 14-day cooling-off period and reminder emails, as UK law requires.

9. Our liability

We take reasonable care to keep the site and course available and accurate, but we can't promise they'll be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost profits or income.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you bought applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
